North Carolina
Missionary Team

The state of North Carolina is served by four couples. Each couple serves by coordinating efforts to support existing churches, train Awana volunteers, and develop Awana clubs in new churches.

Each missionary family raises funds to support their ministry and living expenses. If you are interested in making a contribution, please call or email the Awana Missionary. You may give on-line by visiting the Awana donation page.

What We Do

Roles of Awana missionaries

Outreach

...plan, organize, communicate, and execute a year-long schedule of integrated events in support of development (growth) opportunities and church ministry (fellowship, development, and outreach).

Development

...focus on communicating the ministry of Awana and building relationships with local church, other children’s/youth ministry organization, community service, denominational, and ethnic leadership to create new ministry opportunities within regions of the state/area.

Church Care

...meet with local church leadership to advocate for strong children’s and youth ministry, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of their ministry, and design an action plan for each church that addresses weaknesses and tracks the outcomes.

?'s

If you have questions about running your club effectively and getting the most from your ministry, contact one of your NC missionaries.
