Colossians 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do, do it
heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye
shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
I accepted Christ as my personal savior, at the age of 12, at Gordon Heights
Baptist in Concord, NC. Paula put her trust in Christ at Pennsylvania Avenue
Baptist Church, at 18 years old. We were married there and God has blessed
us with two fine boys (David & John). A few years later, we started Awana
at Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church Kannapolis, NC and began working as
Commander and Secretary of the club there. We are still members there and,
as missionaries, Pennsylvania Ave. is our sending church.
In 1997, we felt God calling us to full time mission
work. We did not know how or where God would use us, but we were willing to
do whatever He had for us. Little did we know, God would allow us to be used
as Awana missionaries. He began opening doors in my and Paula’s life, and
well, here we are! If you had told us in 1997 that we would be where we are,
we’d have laughed. Isn’t that the way it is in all of our lives, when we
look back at what we were and how God has changed us? God has truly blessed
our family and our ministry. We began in 2001 with 64 Clubs in our care and
the Lord has brought that number to 145 vibrant Clubs in the 14 county
Western Piedmont NC area.
Thank you for allowing us to minister to you. We hope
that you will pray for us and get a renewed vision in “reaching boys and
girls with the Gospel of Christ.” We look forward to meeting you and making
new friends. If there is anything we can do to help you, in this endeavor
to reach children and their families, please let us know.
In His Service & In His Grip,
Tommy, Paula, David, & John Nash

As Awana missionaries, Tommy and Paula
need full financial support from the Lord's people. Your sharing in this need is an investment in the lives of boys and girls. Above all, may we
encourage you to keep them near the top of your prayer list in these urgent, challenging days?
Sincerely in Christ,
Art
